Personal data

There is no sign-up, newsletter or comment form on this site. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send by email. Cloudflare, which serves the pages, handles connection data (IP address, browser, time of the request) for delivery and security.

Cookies and local storage

No advertising or tracking cookie is set. Two small values are kept in your own browser: whether you confirmed being 18 or older, and whether you accepted or declined audience measurement. To revisit that second choice, use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page.

YouTube videos

Each guide shows a thumbnail stored on our own server. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; the video then opens from youtube-nocookie.com, and Google’s privacy policy applies to that player.

Leaving for an app

Clicking through to an app takes you to a site we do not control, with its own privacy policy. Partner links can include a tag so the company can credit us for the visit; that tag tells us nothing about who you are.
